She is frequently called on to lead projects and assemble teams to provide program expertise and compassionate guidance before, during and after a disaster.

Alyssa was recognized as an Outstanding Woman in Business and made the 40 Under 40 List by the Denver Business Journal. Alyssa recently achieved her vision by establishing the Alyssa Carrier Emergency Management Scholarship at her alma mater, the University of North Texas, dedicated to empowering women in emergency management.

Alyssa is a driven athlete. She won multiple awards as a college soccer player. She completed the Leadville 100-mile running race in Colorado, qualified and ran in the Boston Marathon, finished two Ironman triathlons, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Fuji, and multiple 14’ers throughout Colorado. Alyssa is THE OG Swifty - and relates to Taylor’s quote, "There might be times when you put your whole heart and soul into something, and it is met with cynicism or skepticism, but you can’t let that crush you. You have to let that fuel you, please remember that you have the right to prove them wrong."

Alyssa lives in Littleton, Colorado with her husband Gavin, two stepsons Max (22) and Zak (20), her daughter Scarlett (2), and two dogs Mika and Tito.

Jordan Finegan currently serves as the Executive Director of the Carrier of Hope Foundation. She has 14+ years of experience performing community outreach services for entities such as the U.S. Department of the Interior during the Obama Administration, the City and County of Denver, CO, and most recently the Colorado Healing Fund (CHF). Around 2017, she was the Project Manager of the Office of HOPE (Housing & Opportunities for People Everywhere) in Denver’s Office of Economic Development, where she managed $1.18 million City contract to overhaul ineffective systems and restructure the program into a successful initiative benefiting the vulnerable populations within the area. Jordan went on to serve as the Executive Director of CHF, establishing the non-profit organization’s operations, including administration, external engagement, emergency response protocols, donor management and engagement, fundraising efforts, media relations, and managing the collection and distribution of over $8 million in donations.

Jordan got married in 2022, with two weddings. The first was in the mountains in Colorado and the second was in New Delhi, India, where her husband is from. She loves to convince others to read her favorite books, discuss The Bachelor and Taylor Swift, and has an 18lb cat named Hobbes. In her spare time, she spends time with her friends and family, discovers new restaurants, and plays pickleball.
